Kim at 28 weeks

I'm so sad.............she's gonna be leaving next week to go back to Va. :o( But I know her poor hubby is going crazy without her, so I'll let her go back. I'll be flying out there on Sept. 3rd to be with her when she has the baby if she waits that long! There's a good possibility that Alex may not get to be there when she goes into labor, so please help us pray that it all works out so that he can be there. He is supposed to be gone the first 2 weeks in Sept. and her due date is Sept. 10-13. She does not know whether or not to induce early, or wait it out in hopes that Alexis will wait for her daddy. So we need some prayers going up.

The Baby Shower

Kimberly's shower turned out really well. I want to thank my church family for taking care of it for us and for providing everything to make it possible. It meant a lot to us! Below are just a few of the gifts she recieved.

My husband's Aunts from Ft. Wayne, were not able to attend the shower, but they came for a visit the day before and gave their gifts to her early.

This 1st. blanket was made by Kimberly's Great Aunt Loretta.

This one was made by her Great Aunt Glenna. It has Alexis C. Lemire monographed on it.
Standing with not even HALF of her gifts. The floor was flooded with gifts!

My sister-in-law Jordana Beagan and my niece Shalane, from Ga., were not able to attend, so they sent their gifts with my mother-in-law. Among the many gifts she recieved from them, was a sippy cup with Alexis' name on it!
Kimberly decorating her first cake!

The finished product! I thought she did pretty good for her first one!

Opening one of the dresses that her grandma crocheted for Alexis.

Alexis' Christening Dress , bonnet and booties made by her Great Grandma Beagan!

Kim at 23 Weeks

I took these pictures of Kimberly in the field behind our house today. The last one is my favorite with the sun rays.

Ultrasound Pictures

This is Alexis' foot and head.

Alexis definitely has her momma's stubberness! She would NOT uncover her face. The tech even had Kimberly poke around on her tummy to try and get Alexis to move her arm, but she wouldn't budge! This first picture is a 4D picture. You can see her all curled up with her hands and feet around her face and head. She is laying like she is getting a diaper change, although I don't think she has that in mind at the moment!...LOL

This next picture, you can't really tell, but she was playing with her feet. We are trying to get the video loaded so that you can see it all, with her moving around. It was so incredible!! So if anyone knows how to tell us to transfer the video to this page, please tell us. She has it loaded on Windows Movie Maker and it wouldn't load from there, even with clicking on the "Add Video" button on here. So she has transferred it to Windows Media Player, so I don't know if she has tried it from there. She even tried to load it to YouTube and it wouldn't load on there either.

Kim at 22 Weeks

She's growing!!!!!!!!! And getting cuter everyday! She goes for another ultrasound on thursday. I'll try to post some pictures if we don't forget to take a CD with us.
We had a scare this week and she ended up in the ER. but everything turned out ok. The baby has a very strong heartbeat and is growing on schedule. I'm so excited to hold our little bundle of joy!!

Mother's Day 2008

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! Kim got snap happy with the camera, and I'm glad she did, because she captured some beautiful memories that I will treasure forever.
I don't know who bought what, but they all knew I wanted a new stainless steel set of pots and pans, so they got me started on my new collection. And they also bought me the roses in the following pictures. Kim knows that I am wanting to change my bedroom theme to lighthouses, sailboats and ships, so she enlarged and framed a sailboat picture that I had taken out on Lake Michigan. It turned out really good. And then hubby bought me a new washer, because if he didn't, he wouldn't have any clean clothes, so he actually had no other options!...LOL He and the girls also fixed dinner while I relaxed in my recliner. And then while everyone was taking their Sunday afternoon nap. I snuck out and cleaned up the kitchen. Dan asked me if I was trying to get him in trouble at church that night since Bro. Mowery was going to ask if the husbands cooked and cleaned up.
Now why would I do such a thing like that?!..LOL

Kim at 21 Weeks

YAY! She's finally starting to look prego!!!
It's so fun listening to her excitement every time she feels the baby move. But it was even MORE fun when grandma got to feel baby Alexis move!

Flowers From Hubby

After a loooooooonng day at the imaging center with my mother yesterday, I was soooooooooooo exhausted, it was all I could do to stay awake on the way home. (And yes, I was driving.) Anyway, I got home and found these sitting on the table. Hubby was out back working, so he wasn't in the house when I got home, so I asked Kimberly what the flower were for and who were they from. She grinned and said, "I guess dad got them for you." The card says, "Just Because." When he finally walked in the house, I asked him what the flowers were for, and he said, "They're for you!" And I said, "But why?" And he said, "Just read the card!" He does this for me every once in awhile. He spoils me rotten. Brittany told me this morning that it was too bad that I married the last good man, because now there's no one left for her to marry. Then she said, "well, not that I want t marry my dad!"...LOL
Anyway, the bouquet is sitting on top of a candle. So I got 2 gifts in one, and believe me, I have the candle burning now! I LOVE candles!

****************************************************************
For those of you who don't know, the doctors are suspecting that my mother has stomach and/or colon cancer. So they are running her through the mill with testing. She went through her first one yesterday, but who knows when we'll get the results. So if you could keep us all in your prayers, we would sure appreciate it.

....................................ON A GOOD NOTE.................................
I FELT THE BABY KICKING LAST NIGHT!!!!!
Alexis finally kicked her grandma. It was a soft kick, but it was still enough to feel.
Now when she's born and she decides to haul off and kick grandma, there will be a different response than excitement! But for now, it's ok. She can kick grandma all she wants...LOL
I have a feeling Kimberly is in for a rude awakening when this baby is born. She said she keeps her up all night. I told her to just wait until after she's born and she keeps her up all night then!

I just now realized that the whole title on this album did not come through. It's supposed to say "Spring Photo's Of The Beagan Girls!" I guess you could have let your mind run wild as to what the "B" stood for!...LOL But I figured I'd better be safe so that my girls didn't think I was calling them the "B" word!...LOL

Spring Is In The Air!!

Our pink Magnolia tree is in full bloom, so we got carried away with the camera yesterday and took pictures before the wind blew all the petels off. I took a few of the girls together and some of Kim, and then she took the ones of Brittany since she is taking photography and needed the practice. I thought she did pretty good!

***********************************************************

I couldn't resist throwing this one in! We were sitting on the couch last night and I looked over at her and just HAD to go run and get my camera. Her little tummy is so cute! She screamed a little later and said, "she's moving again and I can see it this time!!" I RAN from the kitchen and put my hand on her tummy, but Alexis decided she wanted to go back to sleep before I got over there. So I didn't get to feel her kicking.
She'll be 5 months tomorrow!

I am no photographer, but I snapped a few of her out at the Magnolia tree.
